It started when I painted a pickle on aluminum foil. A dolphin key ring followed. It is a childhood sentiment, a warm feeling inside, or the innocence of sparkles. It is a desire for beautiful distracting things and an escape from the seriousness around her. Safari often reflects on her childhood, her relationship with her parents and how the world works. The world through her gaze. Flirting with her subject, and anticipating on what might come.
I use glitter, bright colors and expression-less fish.
