It started when I painted a pickle on aluminum foil. A dolphin key ring followed. It is a childhood sentiment, a warm feeling inside, or the innocence of sparkles. It is a desire for beautiful distracting things and with escaping the gravity of a simple Monday. Looking through a lens requires a certain attitude. Your eyes do not close when you look through a lens. Just like a camera, focus, an extension of your head, of your eye, your retina, your shoulder, arm, hand and finger tips. A camera is sensitive, just like glitter, it works with light. The world through my gaze. Flirting with my subject, and anticipating what might come. Just like glitter it attracts my eyes, just like color it excites me and just like the fish, the subject has its own mind. I capture moments with my camera.

I use glitter, bright colors and expression-less fish.
